Purpose of the Job
To provide timely transport services, ensure consistent maintenance of company vehicles, and guarantee the safety and security of vehicles both on and off the road.
Responsibilities or duties
Logistics Support
- Plan ahead to meet transport requirements
- Safely drive staff and official visitors
- Handle company goods with care and precision
Vehicle Maintenance
- Routine inspection and cleaning of vehicles
- Monitor licenses, insurance and renewals
- Ensure safe and responsible driving
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain vehicle logs and requisitions
- Run office errands and banking tasks
- Report accidents or incidents promptly
Other Duties
- Support office and marketing activities
- Assist in field walkthroughs and inspections
- Perform additional assigned duties
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Qualifications
- Minimum KCSE education
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
- BCE / ABCE driving license (5+ years)
Experience & Skills
- 3 years corporate driving experience
- Excellent knowledge of Nairobi & upcountry routes
- Fluent in English & Kiswahili, team player
