We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to support our logistics and operations functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operations and logistics, strong vendor management skills, and a solid understanding of supply chain processes.

Job Description

  • Coordinate daily logistics operations.
  • Maintain accurate logistics documentation (delivery notes, dispatch records, etc.).
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, transporters, and service providers.
  • Negotiate with vendors and ensure adherence to agreed service levels.
  • Support operational workflows to ensure smooth process flow.
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels, deliveries, and inventory movement.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials in line with food industry standards.
  • Prepare daily and weekly logistics reports.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in logistics or operations, preferably within a food industry setup.
  • Strong vendor and supplier management experience.
  • Good understanding of logistics workflows and inventory processes.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP/logistics systems is an added advantage.
