Background

The Manager, Resource Mobilization and Business Development will spearhead efforts to secure funding, build strategic partnerships, and identify new growth opportunities for KTDA Power.

Role Purpose

The role is responsible for developing financing strategies, managing donor and investor relationships, and driving business expansion initiatives to enhance organizational sustainability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Resource Mobilization Strategy

Develop and implement a comprehensive resource mobilization plan.

Identify funding opportunities from development finance institutions, commercial banks, and climate funds.

Prepare funding proposals, investment briefs, and partnership agreements.

Investor and Donor Engagement

Build and maintain relationships with financiers and development partners.

Coordinate due diligence processes and funding negotiations.

Ensure compliance with reporting requirements linked to financed projects.

Business Development and Market Expansion

Identify new renewable energy investment opportunities.

Conduct feasibility assessments and market research.

Support preparation of business cases and financial models.

Partnerships and Collaboration

Establish strategic partnerships with private sector entities and public institutions.

Represent KTDA Power in industry forums and investment platforms.

Facilitate joint ventures and co-financing arrangements.

Performance Monitoring

Track performance of funded projects and ensure compliance with funding covenants.

Prepare regular reports on resource mobilization progress and pipeline development.
