Role Context

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join a team at a ultra-luxury beachfront hotel in Mombasa. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems within the hotel premises.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, elevators, and kitchen machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify root causes.
• Install and commission new mechanical equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
• Experience in a hospitality environment is advantageous.
