A mixologist/barista must possess strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills, along with specific knowledge of beverage preparation and ingredients. Responsibilities include preparing and serving a variety of drinks (coffee and cocktails), maintaining a clean and organized workspace, managing inventory, handling payments, and providing excellent customer experiences. 

Drink preparation: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including classic and custom cocktails, and a variety of coffee beverages. Customer interaction: Greet customers, take orders accurately, provide recommendations, and answer questions about the menu. Bar maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and coffee preparation areas, including cleaning equipment and restocking supplies. Inventory management: Track stock levels, manage orders, and receive new inventory. Cash handling: Accurately process customer payments using a POS system or cash register and reconcile sales. Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and liquor laws. Training: Train and mentor junior staff on beverage preparation techniques and standards.

Customer service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to greet guests, take orders, make recommendations, and resolve issues. Beverage knowledge: Strong knowledge of coffee types, brewing methods, and flavor profiles, as well as the fundamentals of mixology, including spirits, ingredients, and classic cocktail recipes. Technical proficiency: Ability to operate and maintain equipment like espresso machines and shakers, measure ingredients accurately, and create various beverages and latte art. Operational skills: Multitasking, time management, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills are also necessary for handling payments. Cleanliness and safety: Adherence to health and safety regulations, and the ability to keep the workspace and equipment clean and organized. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure efficient operations.
