Repair and maintenance of county motor vehicle as instructed by the supervisor; Keep records of all the maintenance carried out

Requirements & Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST: -

• Motor Vehicle Mechanic National Trade Test Certificate Grade III with proven practical Experience of three years as Motor Vehicle Mechanic III
• KCSE Mean Grade of D+(Plus) or its equivalent
• Relevant Preliminary Level Apprentice Certificate awarded by the Directorate of Industrial Training with a proven practical experience of three years as Motor Vehicle mechanic III
• Relevant preliminary level certificate awarded by the Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBIT) with proven practical experience of three years as Motor vehicle Mechanic III
• A valid driving license.
