Responsibilities or duties

  • Pick up and deliver goods, documents, and parcels safely and on schedule.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes within Nairobi.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of Nairobi.
  • Use GPS navigation tools such as Google Maps to optimize delivery routes.
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and proof of delivery is obtained where required.
  • Maintain the assigned motorcycle in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.
  • Conduct routine motorcycle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues.
  • Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Handle company property and customer items with care and professionalism.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers and clients.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Minimum of 2 years' proven experience as a Motorbike Rider.
  • Valid Kenyan Class F Motorcycle Driving Licence.
  • Excellent knowledge of Nairobi road network, with strong familiarity with the Mombasa Road corridor.
  • Experience using GPS and mobile navigation applications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Honest, reliable, punctual, and highly organized.
