Background

Are you a senior nursing educator with experience in NCK accreditation and nursing college leadership?

We are recruiting a Nursing College Principal (Setup & Accreditation Lead) to spearhead the establishment and accreditation of a new Nursing Training College in Nairobi.

This role is ideal for a highly experienced nursing professional who can lead the institutional setup, regulatory accreditation, and academic leadership of the college.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the accreditation process with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and TVETA
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Oversee the setup of classrooms, skills laboratories, and training facilities
  • Develop and submit the nursing curriculum for approval
  • Establish clinical placement partnerships with hospitals
  • Support recruitment of qualified nursing tutors and clinical instructors
  • Transition into the role of College Principal, overseeing academic and administrative operations

Required Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse with valid NCK practicing license
  • Diploma in Medical or Technical Education
  • 5–7 years experience in nursing education
  • At least 2 years in a senior academic leadership role
  • Experience with NCK accreditation processes is highly desirable
