Background
The Independent Policing Oversight Authority is established pursuant to the Independent Policing Oversight Authority Act Cap. 86 Laws of Kenya.
Its main function is to provide civilian oversight over the work of the Police.
The Authority wishes to recruit results-oriented Kenyan citizens with drive, vision and creativity to fill the following vacant position:
Responsibilities/ Duties/ Tasks
An officer at this grade will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:
- Photocopying, scanning and binding documents;
- Preparing and serving tea;
- Opening and closing the office daily;
- Utilizing kitchen and basic office consumables;
- Organizing office errands;
- Preparing boardrooms for meetings;
- Moving office furniture and arranging office space for staff;
- Assessing and reporting on areas requiring general maintenance and repair;
- Collecting and collating data for updating records as appropriate; and
- Supporting development of reports as appropriate.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications Required
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have the following qualifications:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade of D (Plain) or its equivalent qualification; and
- Proficiency in Computer applications.

- Opening and closing the office daily;
- Utilizing kitchen and basic office consumables;
- Organizing office errands;
- Preparing boardrooms for meetings;
- Moving office furniture and arranging office space for staff;
