Responsibilities or duties

  • Coordinate daily transport scheduling and route optimization to ensure maximum operational efficiency and service coverage.
  • Manage vehicle availability, maintenance cycles, and strict compliance with local transportation regulations and company policies.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate drivers and support staff to maintain high-quality service standards and professional conduct.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set departmental goals, and update performance tracking platforms with actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the professional handling of driver inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure a supportive work environment.
  • Manage operational budgets and financial incentives to optimize costs, increase profitability, and reward high performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including acceptance rates, login hours, and customer satisfaction to drive data-led decisions.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive operational reports to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Direct the implementation and maintenance of fleet management software and recommend technological upgrades for improved efficiency.
  • Enforce rigorous health and safety protocols, ensuring all vehicles undergo regular inspections and comply with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with customer support teams to resolve real-time issues, such as driver shortages, and align operations with retention goals.
  • Investigate and resolve driver-related complaints regarding punctuality, behavior, and availability while developing long-term resolution strategies.
