Our client in the Events & Hospitality Industry is seeking to recruit an Operations Officer to oversee logistics, infrastructure, and on-site delivery for an international gospel music festival, ensuring smooth execution across multiple locations and event phases.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage festival operations including logistics, transport, accommodation, equipment, and site infrastructure
Coordinate multi-location festival activities across Nairobi, Nakuru, and other event venues
Lead on-site operations to ensure smooth transitions between rehearsals, workshops, concerts, and travel
Oversee staff, volunteers, vendors, and service providers during all festival phases
Identify and resolve operational challenges in real time
Ensure health, safety, and risk management measures are followed at all sites
Support post-festival reviews, reporting, and operational documentation
Utilise digital tools and systems for coordination, scheduling, reporting, and communication
Required Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Logistics, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
2–3 years’ experience in operations management for large-scale events or festivals
Proven experience managing transport, accommodation, and multi-site logistics
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Excellent organisational and multitasking ability
Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office and digital coordination tools
Contract & Budget
