- Teach the principles of operations research including optimization, mathematical modeling, and decision analysis.
- Supervise students in solving complex problems using linear programming, simulation, and forecasting techniques.
- Conduct research on logistics optimization, supply chain efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
- Train students in the use of optimization software such as Solver, CPLEX, and mathematical programming languages.
- Develop teaching materials on production planning, inventory management, and queuing theory applications.
- Guide students in applying operations research methods to resource allocation and planning problems.
- Collaborate with organizations on operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives.
- Setting, moderating, invigilating and marking examinations.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
i. Applicants should hold a PhD or a master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution; and possess vast teaching or industry experience at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
ii. Applicants must have served as a Lecturer or equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the Senate of JOOUST.
iii. Demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research;
iv. At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.
v. Master's holders registered for PhD may be considered
vi. Be registered with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.
Experience needed
At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.

The successful candidates will be offered a competitive remuneration package in accordance with the existing Terms and Conditions of Service.
