• Teach the principles of operations research including optimization, mathematical modeling, and decision analysis.
• Supervise students in solving complex problems using linear programming, simulation, and forecasting techniques.
• Conduct research on logistics optimization, supply chain efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
• Train students in the use of optimization software such as Solver, CPLEX, and mathematical programming languages.
• Develop teaching materials on production planning, inventory management, and queuing theory applications.
• Guide students in applying operations research methods to resource allocation and planning problems.
• Collaborate with organizations on operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives.
• Setting, moderating, invigilating and marking examinations.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

i. Applicants should hold a PhD or a master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution; and possess vast teaching or industry experience at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.

ii. Applicants must have served as a Lecturer or equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the Senate of JOOUST.

iii. Demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research;

iv. At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.

v. Master's holders registered for PhD may be considered

vi. Be registered with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.
