Satsang Mandal has had various charitable programs ongoing for decades including Jaipur Foot & Wheelchair, Jalaram Chakula Feeding Programme, Kanchan Ganga Borehole Water Project and many more. Dr. Rasik Kantaria Jalaram Medical Services was started on a humble beginning as an outpatient service in the year 2004.

Responsibilities or duties

The Pathologist will provide high-quality pathology services, ensure accurate, timely and clinically relevant diagnostic results while supporting patient care, laboratory quality and clinical decision-making.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

MBChB or equivalent degree from a recognized institution. MMed or equivalent degree in General pathology/clinical pathology. Registered with KMPDC and recognized as a specialist. Valid current practicing license. Strong diagnostic and clinical judgement. Commitment to quality and patient safety. Excellent communication and teamwork. Leadership and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and professional integrity. Commitment to continuous improvement.

Experience needed

At least five years post-specialization experience in a hospital or accredited laboratory.

Experience in Histo-cytopathology will be an added advantage.

• Provide specialist interpretation, validation and reporting of laboratory investigations.
• Oversee diagnostic services including hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology and molecular diagnostics.
• Communicate critical and clinically significant results promptly to treating clinicians.
• Provide clinical consultation on appropriate investigations and interpretation of complex results.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory SOPs, quality standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements of KENAS and SANAS.
• Monitor quality control, turnaround times, critical results and laboratory performance indicators.
• Monitor and supervise participation in external quality assurance programs.
• Participate in laboratory audits, incident investigation and continuous quality improvement.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship and patient safety initiatives.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings, CME’s and collaborate closely with other clinicians while providing training, mentorship and professional development for laboratory and clinical staff.
