Job Description:
- Supervise the packing of plastic pellets into specified bags.
- Ensure correct labeling and documentation of packed products.
- Inspect packed pellets for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Train and supervise packing staff, ensuring they adhere to operational guidelines.
- Schedule and allocate tasks to packing team members.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Quality control
Address any quality issues promptly and report them to the recycling plant manager..
Maintain records
- Maintain records of quality and discrepancies if the same
- Keep accurate records of packed products and inventory levels.
- Coordination with the recycling manager to manage stock.
Safety
- Ensure all packing operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety checks and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report and address any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor and control the automatic packing line to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance packing efficiency and quality.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma/Certificate in in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven experience in packing operations, preferably in a recycling or manufacturing environment.
