DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, and family-related engagements, ensuring their comfort and security at all times.
  • Drive family members to appointments, meetings, social functions, and other destinations as requested.
  • Perform delivery and transport duties for the family business, including collection and drop-off of goods, documents, or supplies.
  • Run personal and household errands such as shopping, banking, bill payments, and document submissions.
  • Plan routes in advance to ensure timely arrivals and avoid traffic delays.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle in excellent condition by ensuring regular cleaning, servicing, and inspections.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks (fuel levels, oil, coolant, brakes, lights, and tire pressure) before trips.
  • Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and service schedules when required.
  • Ensure full compliance with traffic laws and practice defensive driving at all times.
  • Handle the vehicle responsibly and report any accidents, damages, or mechanical issues immediately.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding family matters, schedules, and business operations.
  • Be flexible with working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or late nights when necessary.
  • Provide courteous, respectful, and professional service at all times.
  • Support any additional driving-related duties as reasonably assigned by the employer.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Clean BCE Driving Licence
  • Minimum 3–5 years proven experience as a personal or professional driver
  • Excellent knowledge of Nairobi, Ruiru, and surrounding routes
  • Good driving record with no major traffic offenses
  • Ability to communicate clearly and politely
  • High level of discretion, honesty, and integrity
