Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly disciplined Pharmaceutical Production Assistant to support manufacturing and packaging operations within a pharmaceutical production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production equipment, handling raw materials, maintaining strict hygiene standards, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, clean, and maintain pharmaceutical processing and packaging machinery.
- Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials according to approved formulas and ratios.
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet required quality standards.
- Conduct visual inspections of finished products and report any abnormalities.
- Complete Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and label reconciliation documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and contamination-free production environment.
- Perform routine cleaning and sterilization of equipment and work areas.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety standards, and GMP regulations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Pharmaceutical Production, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and production processes.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
