Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Technologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate dispensing of medications and providing support to pharmacists and patients. Your duties will include:

• Assisting pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications.
• Managing pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Operating pharmacy management systems for dispensing and inventory control.
• Providing excellent customer service to patients, answering inquiries, and directing them to pharmacists when necessary.
• Ensuring a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

• A Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
• A valid practicing license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy pharmacy, hospital, or medical facility.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems.
• Strong communication, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
