Key Responsibilities

Plumbing Operations

  • Install, maintain and repair water supply, drainage and sanitation systems.
  • Repair leaks, blockages, faulty fixtures, pumps, valves and piping.
  • Maintain toilets, kitchens, locker rooms, bars, staff areas and guest facilities.
  • Ensure proper functioning of water heaters and related systems.

Preventive Maintenance

  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and water wastage.
  • Identify aging infrastructure and recommend repairs or replacement.

Emergency Response

  • Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies (leaks, burst pipes, blockages).
  • Minimise service disruption to members, guests and operations.

Water Conservation & Cost Control

  • Identify opportunities for water efficiency and leak reduction.
  • Support initiatives to reduce water consumption and operating costs.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure plumbing works comply with health, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain hygienic standards in kitchens, bars and washrooms.
  • Use PPE and follow safe working procedures.

Reporting & Records

  • Maintain records of repairs, inspections and materials used.
  • Report major faults, risks or infrastructure concerns to the Facilities Supervisor.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Trade Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid plumbing certification/license (where applicable).

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience, preferably in hospitality, clubs or commercial facilities.
