Overview

Makini Schools is seeking a dynamic and experienced Plumber at our Schools in Kisumu. The Plumber will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures across the school. The role ensures the continuous and efficient supply of clean water, proper drainage, and the effective functioning of sanitation facilities to support a safe, hygienic, and conducive learning environment. The Plumber works closely with the Facilities Manager and Maintenance team to identify and resolve plumbing issues promptly, minimise disruptions, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and contribute to the upkeep of the school's infrastructure and assets.

Key Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required:

Certified plumber under the Apprenticeship and Tradesmen Qualification Act or equivalent experience from a recognized TVET School/Training College.

Two (2) years' experience in a similar role.

Working knowledge and ability to repair the HVAC, mechanical and electrical equipment systems within the school and industrial commercial environment.
