Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Pool Attendant to join the team at a prestigious Ultra Luxury Beachfront Hotel in Mombasa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the pool area, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing experience for hotel guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the swimming pool and surrounding deck area.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry as per established standards.
• Perform routine checks on pool equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed by guests and staff.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, assisting with their needs and inquiries.
• Distribute towels and amenities to guests.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and adherence to pool rules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pool Attendant or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance and water chemistry is an advantage.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Physically fit and able to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
