Background
The State Department for Roads, under the Ministry of Roads and Transport, has announced multiple employment opportunities for qualified persons seeking to advance their careers in the roads, engineering, transport, training, laboratory, geology, automotive, and technical services sectors. The recruitment exercise includes both promotional and entry-level positions across various technical and professional cadres. The vacancies are aimed at strengthening the Department’s capacity in road infrastructure development, engineering services, training, vehicle maintenance, materials testing, geological services, and technical support functions.
Principal Engineering Technician Materials (Laboratory) – 14 Positions
The officers will support laboratory operations relating to engineering materials testing and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting laboratory tests and analysis.
- Maintaining testing equipment.
- Recording and interpreting test results.
- Supporting quality control processes.
- Preparing technical documentation.
- Assisting engineers in project implementation.

Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
