JOB PURPOSE:

  • To support Pharmacy efficiency by ensuring 100% fill rate.
  • To manage optimal Pharmaceutical inventory levels.
  • Plan the procure-to-pay processes for Pharmaceuticals in conjunction with Payables accountant.
  • Cost management through implementation of procurement policies.
  • Team work with procurement team.
  • Assist the procurement manager drive strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with Pharmaceutical and inventory teams to support service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Participate in supplier prequalification and tendering processes.

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant professional membership to KISM OR CIPS/PPB certification.
  • Professional supply chain qualification is an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Procurement & Logistics and at least Pharmaceutical technologist certification.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in procurement, of which 2 years should be in healthcare or Pharmaceutical setting.
