ABOUT THE ROLE
NestVest is building a technology-driven real estate sales, leasing, property management and investment advisory platform. We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager to own the product workflow from business requirement through launch, testing and optimization.
This is not a coordination-only role. You will sit with Sales in the morning to understand a lead-management problem, discuss data and API logic with developers in the afternoon, and review conversion data with Marketing afterwards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and design product modules. Translate business and user needs into clear PRDs, user stories, wireframes and process flows. Maintain a prioritized product backlog (P0–P3).
- Conduct competitor research, user analysis and data reviews. Define iteration plans that improve conversion, lead quality and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with Engineering, QA, UI/UX, Website Operations and Marketing. Run requirement reviews, track delivery, and own release quality.
- Build and maintain product metrics. Use data to identify bottlenecks in the funnel: visitor → lead → qualified lead → viewing → offer → closing.
- Collect user feedback from Sales, Rental and customers. Turn it into actionable product improvements and maintain product documentation.
- Take ownership of core product areas including: property listing system, search and filters, enquiry forms, viewing booking, CRM lead workflow, rental pipeline and marketing landing pages.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on product management experience, preferably in an internet, SaaS, marketplace or e-commerce product environment.
- Strong proficiency with Figma (or Axure) for wireframes, prototypes and requirement documentation.
- Comfortable with Excel/data analysis — you should be able to review funnel data, conversion rates and basic SQL-style queries.
- Proven experience owning a feature from discovery through launch and post-release optimization.
- Excellent cross-team communication and project follow-through. You must be able to drive decisions without formal authority.
- Strong user thinking and business judgment — you can balance what users want, what the business needs, and what is feasible to build.
PREFERRED
- Experience in real estate, PropTech, CRM systems, lead-generation websites or marketplaces.
- Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, UTM tracking and conversion attribution.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, databases and how web products are built.
- A portfolio or case studies showing your product work and measurable outcomes.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Real ownership — your product decisions directly drive lead quality, sales results and customer experience.
- Work closely with a small, high-ownership team in Nairobi.
- Opportunities to grow as the product and business scale.
