Key Responsibilities

Develop & implement production plans aligned with sales forecasts, customer orders and inventory targets.

  • Ensure achievement of production targets through efficient machine, manpower and material utilization.
  • Monitor and improve production KPIs including output, downtime, waste reduction, efficiency and cost control.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, 5S and process optimization.
  • Ensure products meet required quality standards through effective QA/QC processes and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate raw material planning, inventory control and stock reconciliation with procurement and stores teams.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to improve machine reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Enforce workplace safety, OSHA compliance and environmental standards across production operations.
  • Lead and supervise production teams, ensuring accountability, productivity, training and performance improvement.
  • Prepare production, quality, downtime and operational performance reports to support decision-making.
  • Support factory expansion, automation, new product development, and operational growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, Manufacturing or related field. Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in manufacturing operations, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, inventory control and factory KPIs.
  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel & reporting tools is an added advantage.
