Job Overview
The Production Officer is responsible for supporting day-to-day production activities to ensure the smooth processing, sorting, and packaging of avocado products.

The role focuses on maintaining efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations within the production line.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
•Monitor and assist in daily production processes from raw material intake to final packaging.
•Ensure adherence to production schedules and report any delays or disruptions.
•Follow and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in all production tasks.
•Assist in maintaining hygiene and product quality in accordance with food safety standards.
•Conduct routine quality checks and escalate any irregularities to the supervisor.
•Ensure all workers observe safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
•Maintain accurate records of daily production output, raw material usage and rejects.
•Submit timely reports to the Production Supervisor for consolidation and review.
•Work closely with other departments such as Quality Control, Maintenance and Logistics.
•Provide feedback to supervisors on operational issues or improvements.
•Support coordination of shifts and allocation of manpower under the
direction of the supervisor.
•Observe and report the operational status of machinery and tools.
•Assist in routine maintenance checks and coordinate with technical teams
on equipment needs.
•Ensure production tools are clean and stored properly after use.

Qualifications and Experience
•Diploma or Certificate in Food Science, Production Management, or a
related field.
•1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or food processing plant
(preferably fresh produce).
•Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and manufacturing processes.

Key Skills and Competencies
•Basic understanding of production workflows and machinery operation
•Good communication and teamwork abilities
•Attention to detail and quality awareness
•Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
•Basic computer literacy for record keeping
