Job Summary:

LAHS Lounge is seeking a skilled and experienced Professional Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will prepare high-quality international cuisine, maintain consistency, and uphold hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency.
• Prepare high-quality meals according to established standards.
• Maintain consistency in portion sizes, taste, and presentation.
• Ensure proper mise en place and kitchen readiness.
• Deliver orders efficiently during busy service.
• Monitor food quality and freshness.
• Control food waste and manage stock (FIFO).
• Maintain hygiene and comply with food safety standards (HACCP).
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service team.
• Support menu development, including creating and refining recipes.
• Train junior staff on recipes, cooking techniques, and kitchen procedures.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or café.
• Skilled in international cuisine, including: Breakfast, Burgers & Sandwiches, Steaks & Grills, Pasta, Salads, Mexican, Asian, Indian, and Continental.

Added Professional Advantage:

• Culinary certification.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen.
• Baking & pastry skills.
• Menu costing knowledge.
• Catering or banquet experience.
