Background

The Programme Lead Consultant will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and delivery of the programme. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing the programme strategy.
  • Managing programme budget and resources effectively.
  • Leading and motivating the programme team.
  • Ensuring timely and quality delivery of programme outputs.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including partners and beneficiaries.
  • Monitoring and evaluating programme progress and impact.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Development Studies, Project Management).
  • Proven experience in programme leadership and management.
  • Strong understanding of the Kenyan context.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in programme management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in the health sector is an added advantage.

Additional Information

This is a consultancy position. Competitive remuneration will be offered based on experience and qualifications.
