Médecins sans frontières (MSF) or Doctors Without Borders, is an international humanitarian-aid non-governmental organization (NGO) and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, best known for its projects in war-torn regions and developing countries facing endemic diseases.
Responsibilities or duties
Overall project management of TIC.
Develop a realistic and achievable overall project timeline, track progress and adjust plans as needed.
Monitor project expenditures to prevent cost overruns.
Support in recruitment of positions associated with the project (also at field level).
Building on existing materials (assessment, workshops), create a full package of intervention including follow up activities, support to leaders, change management and monitoring tools.
Implement CoC pilot in at least 3 pilot mission/projects over 12 months ensuring real time cross-fertilization of best practices and lessons learnt
Participate in Training of Facilitators in July 2026 and deliver future Trainings of Facilitators
Direct and regular mentoring and support to pilot projects by project lead
Facilitate a virtual-in-person community of practice (pilots + trained facilitators + subject matter experts)
Capitalize lessons learnt and best practices real time and produce materials to improve and support the implementation of the CoC package
Proactively seek opportunities to streamline CoC into ways of working of OCBA (integration into processes, links with technical advisors and ad hoc support to projects)
In collaboration with a researcher, define and implement an in-depth assessment and monitoring process to demonstrate the impact of the intervention in the pilots with a view to publishing the results
Build awareness and increase appetite for improving CoC at movement level:
Continue to work with MSF academy, Quality of Care, Nursing, SRH and Safeguarding platforms
Articulation with other existing learning streams
Regular webinars for all interested MSF staff (both generic and specific around a given situation/topic) – aim to integrate into existing platforms
Continue to bring in external knowledge on the topic
Ensure shared intersectional ownership of content and foster continuous and proactive implementation
Develop a plan to transfer ownership of package to an intersectional platform
In collaboration with knowledge management team, develop a repository site with all relevant material
Deliver additional Trainings of Facilitators
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
University degree in medical or paramedical studies is required. Additional training in pedagogical methods, medical anthropology or transcultural approaches will be considered an asset.
Proven experience in developing and facilitating participatory learning and training solutions, including culturally adapted learning materials in health-related contexts.
Experience in clinical roles with direct patient contact, as well as in qualitative and quantitative research related to health settings or patient experience.
Fluency in French and English is required. Knowledge of Spanish or Arabic will be considered an asset.
Strong knowledge of project management tools (logframes, indicators, reporting) and advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Internet). Familiarity with qualitative data analysis software (e.g. NVivo, MAXQDA, ATLAS) will be considered an asset.
Experience needed
Minimum of 3 years of experience with a medical organization in humanitarian settings, including managerial or coordination responsibilities. Previous experience with Médecins Sans Frontières as Project Medical Referent or Medical Coordinator is highly valued.
Experience implementing pilot projects, including monitoring tools, iterative learning processes and capitalization of lessons learned.

Contract duration: temporary contract until 31st December 2027. Full time job.
