Project Manager

Job Purpose:

To plan, execute, and oversee specific school projects, such as new building construction, renovations, technology rollouts, or major curriculum change implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
  • Assemble and coordinate project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control.
  • Procure and manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or Business.
  • Professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction or educational projects.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and risk management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (MS Project).
