- Teach the principles of project planning including project initiation, scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Supervise students in the development of project plans, work breakdown structures, and project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera.
- Conduct research on project success factors, project performance measurement, and project governance frameworks.
- Train students in stakeholder analysis, project communication strategies, and quality management in projects.
- Develop teaching materials on project feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and project financing.
- Guide students in understanding the integration of sustainability and ethical considerations in project planning.
- Collaborate with organizations on project planning consulting and advisory services.
- Setting, moderating, invigilating and marking examinations.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
i. Applicants should hold a PhD or a master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution; and possess vast teaching or industry experience at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
ii. Applicants must have served as a Lecturer or equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the Senate of JOOUST.
iii. Demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research;
iv. At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.
v. Master's holders registered for PhD may be considered
vi. Be registered with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.

At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.
