JOB DETAILS:

The successful candidates will be offered a competitive remuneration package in accordance with the existing Terms and Conditions of Service.

Responsibilities or duties

Teach the principles of public administration, public management, and governance at local, national, and regional levels.

Supervise students in organizational analysis, public sector reform, and administrative law.

Conduct research on public service delivery, public financial management, and e-governance.

Train students in leadership, decision-making, and ethical practice in the public sector.

Develop teaching materials on public policy, decentralization, and public sector performance measurement.

Guide students in understanding the relationship between politics, administration, and the public interest.

Collaborate with government institutions on public administration capacity development programs.

Setting, moderating, invigilating and marking examinations.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

i. Applicants should hold a PhD or a master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution; and possess vast teaching or industry experience at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.

ii. Applicants must have served as a Lecturer or equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the Senate of JOOUST.

iii. Demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research;

iv. At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.

v. Master's holders registered for PhD may be considered

vi. Be registered with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.

Experience needed

At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.
