Responsibilities

  • Ensure product quality consistently meets KEBS and internal company standards through rigorous oversight.
  • Manage the calibration, verification, and maintenance of all monitoring equipment while maintaining records per ISO requirements.
  • Monitor and manage the renewal of product standardization permits for the entire portfolio ahead of established deadlines.
  • Control and minimize product rejection levels in strict adherence to company performance standards.
  • Verify that all raw material quality standards align with technical specifications before entering the production process.
  • Analyze quality-related customer complaints to devise and implement effective countermeasures.
  • Conduct internal staff training and sensitization on Kaizen, ISO processes, and general quality standards.
  • Oversee the capture and analysis of MIS data to prepare Raw Material Trial, Rejection Analysis, and Quality Level reports.
  • Track production KPIs and lead investigations into any deviations from set performance standards.
  • Manage the control and disposal of non-conforming goods in full compliance with ISO requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Applied Sciences.
  • Certification Knowledge in Kaizen/ISO would be an added advantage
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor in a manufacturing setup, preferably within the plastics industry.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of local laws and regulations applicable to manufacturing and product safety.
  • Demonstrate leadership experience through the management and mentoring of at least one trainee Inspector.
  • Apply a strong understanding of ISO process requirements and factory-level quality checks and controls.
  • Utilize data and data inferences to identify critical quality checkpoints and drive informed, data-driven decision-making.
