Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Dental Receptionist.

Qualifications

  • Must be a diploma or degree holder from a recognized institution
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and ability to draft professional emails
  • A pleasant personality, high emotional intelligence, and strong communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to put in long hours when required
  • Proficiency in standard office software, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Must be a quick learner with strong adaptability
  • Must have written recommendations from two previous employers
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a dental receptionist, practice manager, or in a busy private medical/dental practice
  • Must be familiar with all dental insurance procedures in Kenya, including patient benefit verification and claims
  • Must be familiar with software used for insurance communication
  • Must understand dental terms, procedures, and basic clinical workflow
  • Must be a team player with ability to provide solutions on short notice
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in appointment scheduling and front-desk coordination

  • Handling incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette
  • Managing accurate patient records (manual and digital)
  • Managing insurance communication and claims processing
  • Supporting clinical staff with administrative tasks
  • Ensuring smooth, efficient front-office operations
  • Maintaining high standards of customer care
