ABOUT THE ROLE
The Receptionist will serve as the first and principal point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional front-office management and administrative support to the organisation.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome, attend to, and direct visitors, clients, and staff professionally
- Manage all incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and correspondence
- Schedule appointments, maintain the office diary, and coordinate meetings
- Handle front-desk administrative tasks, office supplies, and filing
- Maintain a professional, welcoming, clean, and organised reception area
- Coordinate communication and information flow between all departments
- Manage courier, postal, and document dispatch services
- Assist the Administration Department with any other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum KCSE / Form 4 - Degree or Diploma in Front Office Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a receptionist or front-office role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili
- Professional, well-presented, with outstanding interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, email management, and basic computer applications
- Calm, organised, and capable of managing a busy front office independently
