Role Context

We are seeking results driven Regional Multimedia Fact-Checkers to join our team across all sub-counties in Kenya The successful candidates will be responsible for content creation and production across our platforms including video, audio, and text while supporting accurate, timely, and impactful storytelling This role focuses on generating verified, high-quality content from assigned regions, in collaboration with the Mediamax Editorial Team

Responsibilities

  • Create and produce multimedia content (video, audio, and text) from assigned regions
  • Verify information and ensure accuracy of all published content
  • Liaise with the Editorial Team on activities and stories within your area
  • Develop and contribute content for all Mediamax brands
  • Monitor and report on local trends, news, and emerging issues

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Journalism or a related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in content production
  • Proven ability to produce multimedia content
  • Fluency in English and Swahili (local language is an added advantage)
  • Strong fact-checking, research, and storytelling skills
