Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve parts sales revenue and gross margin targets.
- Grow market share by identifying new business opportunities, recruiting new Parts stockiest and expanding existing customer accounts.
- Conduct regular customer visits, presentations and business reviews.
- Reactivate dormant customers and develop strategies to increase purchase frequency.
- Promote genuine parts through customer education and marketing initiatives.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the product portfolio.
Dealer Network Development
- Develop, support and continuously appraise the regional dealer network.
- Monitor dealer and parts stockiest performance and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Ensure dealer/Parts stockiest branding and visibility comply with company standards.
- Coordinate regional Parts marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Provide product knowledge and sales support to dealer staff.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with fleet customers, dealers, Parts stockiest and independent workshops.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve complaints through root cause analysis.
- Conduct post-sale follow-ups to improve customer satisfaction.
- Gather customer feedback and recommend service improvements.
- Maintain high customer retention through proactive engagement.
Sales Planning & Market Intelligence
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly territory plans.
- Conduct competitor analysis covering pricing, product availability, promotions and market trends.
- Analyze customer purchasing patterns and identify growth opportunities.
- Recommend pricing, promotional and product strategies.
- Share market intelligence with management.
Operational Excellence, Reporting & Compliance
- Support demand forecasting, monitor lost sales and recommend inventory improvements.
- Submit timely sales reports, forecasts, territory analyses, and market intelligence.
- Monitor customer credit, support debt collection, and ensure compliance with company credit policies.
- Continuous training and comply with company policies, SOPs, and ethical standards.
- Participate in departmental initiatives and perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Academic Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in Automotive Parts Sales.
- At least two (2) years in regional or field sales.
