The County Public Service Board Wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons on permanent and pensionable terms to fill the following positions in the department of Health Services.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Taking history, examining, diagnosing, ordering laboratory and imaging investigations;
- Interpreting laboratory and imaging results;
- Treating patients’ common ailments at an outpatient or inpatient health facility;
- Providing community health care services in liaison with other health workers;
- Guiding and counseling patients, clients and staff on health issues;
- Sensitizing patients and clients on preventive and promotive health;
- Carrying out surgical procedures as per training and skill;
- Collecting and compiling clinical data;
- Preparing medico-legal briefs on clinical services; and
- Referring patients and clients to appropriate health
- Offer curative services in a health facility
- Work in a flexible shift
- Strong commitment to inpatient and outpatient care of patients
- Respond to emergency
- Any other relevant duty and responsibility within the County Health Department
Requirements
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Clinical Medicine and Community Health or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
- Must have a diploma in clinical medicine and surgery from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Has a valid registration with clinical officers council
- Has a valid practicing license from Clinical officers Council
