About the Role:
Homecare Retreat Center is seeking an experienced practicing Christian for the position of Retreat Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Christian-based facility. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, ensure excellent guest experiences, and maintain high operational, financial and safety standards. The position holder will be stationed at the Retreat Centre in Karen, Nairobi.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all retreat operations and staff.
- Ensure excellent guest service and uphold Christian values.
- Drive occupancy, guest satisfaction, and repeat business.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, inventory, and procurement.
- Maintain facility hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee facility maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in retreat, hotel, lodge, or similar management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Financial management and basic accounting competence.
- Knowledge of hospitality regulations and compliance requirements.
- Must demonstrate Christian values and commitment to a faith-based work environment.
