Job Summary .
Successful candidates will be responsible for driving international revenue growth by identifying global market opportunities and managing high-stakes relationships with international retailers and distributors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in export markets, Europe and Middle East markets..
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and implement annual sales forecasts, budgets, and performance plans.
- Drive profitability through pricing strategies and cost management
- Manage export documentation, regulatory compliance, and trade requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure efficient export operations.
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and market visits
- Develop and manage a strong distribution network internationally..
- Negotiate international contracts, pricing, and supply agreements.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing team.
- Set performance targets and monitor individual and team performance.
- Provide coaching, training, and development to improve sales effectiveness.
- Foster a high-performance and results-oriented culture.
Qualifications.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Agribusiness, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in fresh produce export.
- Knowledge of European or Middle East buyer behavior.
- Professional certification in Sales, Marketing, or Export Trade will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated track record in achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.
- Strong commercial and business development skills
- Export trade knowledge and international market exposure
