Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Executive to drive revenue growth within the electronic security and safety systems sector. The role focuses on identifying new sales opportunities, managing key client relationships, and delivering customized security solutions aligned with client needs.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market presence, generating new business, and achieving set sales targets through strategic client engagement and solution-based selling.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Build, manage, and nurture strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Carry out client site surveys alongside technical teams to understand operational requirements.
  • Prepare detailed commercial proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.
  • Deliver product demonstrations showcasing electronic security and safety solutions.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring favorable commercial outcomes.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • Customize solutions to align with client security and operational needs.
  • Utilize modern sales approaches, including digital networking and relationship-based selling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications or requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA in Marketing or professional sales certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B solutions sales within the electronic security systems industry (CCTV, Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, Parking Management Systems, or related solutions) or engineering.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales dynamics within the Kenya and Tanzania markets; Pan-African exposure is an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business development and relationship management capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Valid driver’s license, valid passport, and willingness to travel as required.
