At TakaTaka Solutions, We collect your waste like every other waste collector, but, instead of taking it to a landfill, we take it to our own sites, where we sort the waste, and then recycle 95% either ourselves or through our local partners. This represents one of the highest recycling rates in the world.
Purpose of the Role:
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving business growth by identifying, acquiring, and maintaining commercial and / or residential clients, focus decided by HoD.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Management, or any related field.
At least 1-2 years of work experience in sales with high performance
Previous experience in solution selling of complex products or services (as . Example segments include facility management, security, and IT.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the waste management and recycling industry, including trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
Sales Proficiency: Proven experience in B2B sales, with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies, generate leads, and close deals. Experience in waste management or related industries is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the waste management and recycling industry.
Customer Acquisition and Retention:
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales target
Generate leads, prospect new clients, and build a robust sales pipeline.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Client Consultations and Presentations:
Conduct client meetings to understand their waste management needs and present tailored solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals and quotes to potential clients.
Contract Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate contracts and close deals with commercial and/or residential clients (focus decided by HoD), ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to finalizing contracts.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
Track and report sales performance metrics, pipeline status, and conversion rates.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work closely with other departments, such as logistics , customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide guidance and support as needed.
Customer Support and Follow-up:
Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Conduct follow-up meetings and check-ins to ensure continued satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
