Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for the business segment. The primary goal is to maximize occupancy, revenue, and partnerships, ensuring long-term relationships and high levels of client satisfaction. This role requires a strategic approach to identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with key accounts.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive occupancy and revenue from clients across all properties.

Identify and target potential markets, including multinationals, local businesses, and key industries.

Set and achieve sales targets, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with the hotel’s overall revenue goals.

Account Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels and repeat business.

Negotiate contracts, rates, and agreements with clients in collaboration with the Revenue Management department.

Proactively address any client issues or concerns to maintain strong client partnerships.

Business Development:

Identify new business opportunities and proactively approach potential clients.

Work closely with the hotel’s team to develop packages, offers, and presentations that appeal to clients.

Attend networking events, industry forums, and trade shows to build relationships and generate new leads.

Reporting and Analysis:

Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, revenue performance, and market insights for the DOSM and hotel management.

Provide strategic recommendations for improving sales strategies to meet and exceed business objectives.

Collaboration with Marketing:

Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, campaigns, and presentations specifically for clients.

Assist in planning and executing events and promotional activities to drive awareness and engagement with accounts.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the hospitality industry.

Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties and priorities effectively.

Willingness to travel locally and internationally if required.

Proficiency in French language is an added advantage.
