About the Role
The Sales Manager role is within the Sales Department and report to the General Manager/ Director. The role holder is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading and managing the sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets through the acquisition of new clients, securing high-value contracts, managing service agreements and optimizing sales processes.
Role Objectives (Key Result Areas)
- Acquisition and Management of High-Value Contracts
- Development of Strategic Partnerships
- Servicing Contracts and After-Sales Support
- Customer Relationship Management and Retention
- Sales Target Achievement and Reporting
- Market Development and Brand Positioning
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior sales leadership, managing teams and delivering revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of industrial products, fire systems, engineering systems, and B2B project sales.
- Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies that deliver measurable growth.
- Excellent knowledge of contract management, tendering processes, and negotiation.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics, and forecasting tools.
- Demonstrated success in securing high-value contracts and building long-term strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration with technical and Finance teams
The salary range for the role is gross Kshs. 80-100k based on experience. This role offers a competitive commission structure for new businesses acquired and on existing businesses.
