Background information about the job or company
On behalf of our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer, we are seeking to recruit experience Sales Representative to support our regional sales operations. The role will be responsible for driving both primary and secondary sales across assigned territories.
The Successful candidates will be assigned to the following regions:
Qualifications or requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field
- 2–4 years’ experience in field sales, preferably within animal feeds, FMCG, or agricultural inputs
- Proven experience handling both primary and secondary sales
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and territory management skills
- Willingness to work extensively in the field within the assigned region
- Valid motorcycle license is an added advantage
Responsibilities or duties
- Drive primary sales by managing distributor orders, stock planning, and order execution
- Drive secondary sales through effective coverage of retailers, farmers, agro-vets, and key accounts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key customers within the region
- Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets
- Execute trade activities, promotions, and market activations within assigned territory
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends
- Prepare daily sales reports, route plans, and market intelligence updates
- Ensure effective product availability, visibility, and distribution
