A sales representative needs strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, alongside proficiency in CRM software. 

Prospecting and Lead Generation: Finding and qualifying new leads through research, networking, and direct outreach. Sales and Presentations: Presenting products and services to potential customers, highlighting their benefits and answering questions. Relationship Management: Maintaining and strengthening relationships with both new and existing clients. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiating contracts and terms to successfully close sales deals. Sales Target Achievement: Meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas. Administrative Tasks: Preparing sales contracts, maintaining client records in a CRM system, and submitting sales reports. Market Research: Staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and presentation skills are essential for conveying product value and building rapport. Persuasion and Negotiation: The ability to persuade customers and negotiate contracts and prices is crucial for closing deals. Customer Service: Empathy, patience, and a strong aptitude for understanding and meeting customer needs are key to maintaining client relationships. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other digital tools is necessary for tracking interactions and managing data. Organizational and Time Management: Strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or in a fast-paced environment are required. Product Knowledge: Deep and current knowledge of the products or services being sold is fundamental.
