JOB DETAILS:

Kipkeino School located in Eldoret is seeking to hire for the position of:

School Matron

The School Matron will be responsible for the welfare and well-being of students in the boarding section. This role requires a compassionate and organized individual with a background in nursing or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school environment and possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage student needs and emergencies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in Nursing, Community Health, or a related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a boarding school setting.
• Valid First Aid certification.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, patience, and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly.
• Compassion and a genuine passion for working with children.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: associate degree
