Job Purpose

This position is responsible for the safety and security of KWAL property, ensuring the security of all assets (tangible and intangible), people (staff, on-site contractors), and the public using KWAL premises. The role involves implementing appropriate policies and systems to maintain security, as well as protecting KWAL’s brand by driving anti-illicit initiatives in collaboration with Government Multi-Agencies.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare, deploy, and monitor the implementation of Security departmental plans and strategies aligned to the overall business strategy and Heineken strategy, policies, and frameworks.
• Develop and roll out strategic security initiatives, including overall security plans, subject to senior management approval.
• Prepare and, upon approval, disseminate all security communications within the organization.
• Develop, implement, and monitor departmental annual budgets to ensure alignment with the overall KWAL strategy.
• Manage and ensure effective CCTV monitoring and the operation of access control systems.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Social Science or Criminology.

Professional Qualifications

A recognized qualification in Security Management is an added advantage.

Experience

At least 8 years’ experience, with 2 years in a management role within a Supply Chain FMCG environment.
