Responsibilities or duties
Ensuring the safety and security of the County Assembly premises, members of the County Assembly (MCAs), staff and visitors.
Screening visitors and controlling entry and exit points.
Reporting and responding to security incidents and emergencies.
Conducting routine patrols within the Assembly precincts.
Detecting and reporting suspicious activities.
Maintaining occurrence books and preparing security reports.
Issuance of entry badges.
Preventing removal of the institution’s property without proper authorization.
Performing any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Grade D+ or its equivalent.
Good communication skills and high integrity.
Certificate in First Aid course.
Experience needed
Must have served as a Security Guard for at least two years.
Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes).
Training in security operations from a recognized institution or paramilitary training certificate is an added advantage.
