Egerton University is hiring a Senior Lecturer to supervise student research, develop academic curricula and contribute to academic leadership and institutional development. The role is based in Nakuru and supervision of a minimum of two post-graduate students is required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise student research
- Develop academic curricula
- Contribute to academic leadership and institutional development
- Supervision of a minimum of two post-graduate students
Qualifications
- An earned PhD in Environmental Law from a recognised university.
- Have at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or research/industry as Lecturer. OR i. Master’s degree in Environmental Law from a recognised university.
- A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least sixteen (16) must be from refereed journals.
- Have supervised a minimum of two (2) post-graduate students to completion as a Lecturer.
- Be registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
- Have the minimum points required for each activity.
