Leads and manages the MSME Faith Based Organizations FBO & NGO sector portfolio. The Head provides strategic direction for sector growth, drives revenue performance, manages risk, and ensures delivery of fit-for-purpose solutions for Agricultural MSME clients.
Responsibilities or duties
- Defines & executes the Faith Based Organizations FBO, NGO & MSME sector strategy in alignment with the Retail Division and overall MSME ecosystem agenda.
- Drives growth by analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and ensuring strategic alignment across internal stakeholders and delivery channels.
- Oversees and develops the Faith Based Organizations (FBO) MSME team, ensuring appropriate resourcing, capability building, and high performance in delivering sector objectives.
- Collaborates with product, digital, and marketing teams to design and refine competitive sector-specific financial solutions that meet evolving customer needs.
- Monitors financial performance, customer satisfaction, and market share to ensure sustainable growth and continuous improvement within the Faith Based Organizations (FBO).
- Enterprise-wide Risk Management; -Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Credit policy prudential guidelines, combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to mitigate against losses, frauds, forgeries, and regulatory penalties’ relevant to the Faith Based Organizations (FBO) MSME portfolio.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Bachelor’s degree in business or any relevant degree.
- Master’s degree in business administration is an added advantage.
- Professional qualifications in Project management or business field is an added advantage.
Experience needed
- 8 years’ work experience, with at least:
- 7 years’ experience in Proactive selling skills (essential).
- 5 years’ experience in Credit Underwriting Skills(essential).
- 5 years’ experience in Customer Relationship management(essential).
- 3 years’ experience in Banking Operations (desired).
- 4 years’ experience in Business research and product development (added advantage).
- 2 years’ experience in Project management (added advantage).
